We didn't get the shaft, in fact our team, The Jets, won the 6th grade boys division. But our ****l was obviously loaded. The problem was you were going to lose a top team through ****l play. I would think the objective would be to obtain the most competitive championship bracket possible, not try to accomadate everybody and their brother. All 3 teams in ****l E were past participants. Shouldn't be hard to see what they've done in the past and know they shouldn't be in the same ****l. We play in a lot of tournaments, yours in ok. Just might want to consider past performances. As for "weighting", it's done very sucessfully every year in Kansas City by the KC Keys Tournament. But these folks "know" the teams. If this tournament was done in similar fashion, our ****l would have been the top ****l. Everybody has to advance though. The seeding is pre-set based on the toughness of each ****l. Every process has their flaws, your seeding was as good as anyone elses. Just as shame you lost a good team. Not sure why I'm sticking up for a team that could have easily beat us??? That's just the way we are, we'd rather play tough competition and lose than to breeze though something. Case in point should have been the 1 seed in our division??
