Beardstown Powerhouse southpaw burst on the scene as a freshman and posted an impressive 12-2 record as the ace of Robin Lewis staff. Talented and savvy beyond his years, Howell finished the year with a 2.03 ERA and 96 strikeouts against just 30 walks.

USA SPORTS RANKINGS

We had a TBS-USA contributor clock D-Back pitcher Tanner Howell as high as 87 on the Jugs gun at one event and 84-86 on the Stalker (slow gun) at another. They have a couple others that threw heat! They impressed us all season! JAH

SPRINGFIELD SLUGGERS

In 2005 finished 2nd at the SuperSeries Nationals in Kansas City, Kansas. Tanner was on the All Tounament Team and Runner-up in HomeRun Derby.

DUPAGE DIAMONDBACKS

Played with the Dupage Diamonds in the 2006 CABA World Series (Placed 2nd in Tournament) Pitched against the Japan, Maryland Select, Orland Park, and Indiania teams.
Playing 2007 In 3 Major Tounament - Tournament of Champions-Cincinnati, Junior Olympics- Jupiter Florida, and  Caba World Series-Marietta Georgia.
DuPage Diamondbacks finished the 2006 Year (#1 in Illiniois and #3 in the Nation!)

BERGEN BEACH - NEW YORK

Guest Player with the Bergen Beach (Midwest Team) in select tournament (2007 President's Day Challenge - Cocoa Beach Florida).

GEORGIA ROADRUNNERS

Played with the powerhouse Georgia Roadrunners who had a season of  39-17 against Some of the best competitors in the United States.  The Roadrunners ended their 2008 season by clinching the championship at the Triple Crown National Tournament in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
